Nail Nation 3000 | Eve

 Hello all! I just wanted to start out by saying when I got this polish I immediately searched for pictures upon pictures to make sure I got the right one. Not because of the color, it was spot on but my bottle came with no label =(  Anywhoo on to the holoygoodness. This evening I have for you lovelies Eve #403 by Nail Nation 3000.

These apologies are getting old I am sure... But you wouldn't believe the week I've had. Electricity problems, internet problems and then more internet/phone problems. The good thing is SUPPOSEDLY all things are fixed and I am now able to get back to one of my favorite things to do... blogging and nails sigh.  But your not here for my reasons are you so ON WE GO. Today I have for you one of my fav Essies and a new to me brand Glitzology. Glad to have run across this awesome brand.

Morning Sunshines! If you don't like tape mani's just go home right now... you still here good! Now this mani is certainly not perfect but I shall not tell a lie I was in a rush not a good combo with drying polish and tape... eek :/. But other than that I do love this combination of colors. Another plus... it matched my dress for our Christmas party perfectly.

Afternoon! Well after this eventful morning I am finally here to deliver to you another GORGEOUS (drool worthy) Nail Pattern Boldness | Don't Drop That Spoon. Because I love glitter and all the matte things of course matte glitters are an absolute must. Well without further ado here she is Don't Drop That Spoon!

Essie| Yogaga and Beyond Cozy

Today I have for y'all some more essie... are you tired because if you are I am sorry but at the same time I'm not ;) Here we have Yogaga from the Fall 2012 collection and Beyond Cozy from the Winter/Leading Lady 2012 collection. Both purchased from none other than Target... well are you ready?

Here she is in all her glory Yogaga the namesake of the group, a wonderful formula opaque in one coat but two out of habit. As you can see a sandy kind of beige or as essie's description puts it at a peachful (idk about that?) sandy beige... trues story go check it out here. Anywhoo check this non peachful sandy beige out:

 

Oh what is that I hear you ask what is that... it is my FIRST attempt using my dotting tools... could have been better but at the same time much worse... enough of that Beyond Cozy are you kidding me you don't have it... go to Target right now or wherever carries Essie that is closest to you. Are you seriously still reading this for shame yet thank you all at the same time.

This bad boy is probably MY FAVORITE glitter at the moment... I LOVE IT! It is 2 thin coats over 1 of yogaga.  Nearly opaque in one coat but two is nicer. It is a what seems like to me silver and slightly gold mix of glitters. Absolutely stunning and of course as all gorgeous things are a little tough to remove but HEY thats what using Yellow Stopper as a base coat is for (no hassles with that method) ;) try it thank me later!

Polish Galore

That's right it is Wednesday... WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG? My apologies it has been a terrifyingly long week. Well I am not certain but I don't think you came here to hear me rant. I have a couple ton of pictures from a quick manicure I wore this past weekend. This mani includes:

Smitten Polish| Hillary's Dream... this polish THIS polish I am ready to wear as a full mani. Thank God for my impulse buy of a grab bag at llarowe. Perfect coverage... ALL THE GLITTERS! I'd name the colors but if you have eyes you see them all below shining in their black jelly base.

 Here we have another Essie|No More Film (both shocked and appalled aren't you?) It is a deep creme violet, application was pretty good, it was a bit runny but nothing to bad. Of course purchased at Target.

 If there is one thing I love about these pictures with the bottle of No More Film PLUS the lighting you can see the shift of Cosmic Ocean.

Here we have the other star of the show... the last installment if you will. Girly Bits|Cosmic Ocean.

 This polish makes my jaw drop :)

Do you see the color difference between the picture above and below in the bottle?! Well do ya... punk?

Both Cosmic Ocean and Hillary's Dream were purchased from llarowe. It's a crying shame I found Llarowe so early in my polish obsession. ;)

Whimsical Ideas by Pam | Kitty Glitter

Alas, I have returned... it has been a while and for that I apologize. Can you blame me, I had an adorable just turned 2 niece over for the holiday... she even picked out her own polish from my stash. What can I say like Aunt like niece? not quite mother/daughter but you catch my drift... of course she picked blue the only blue with glitter I happen to own... for shame i know, but she picked NPB | I Believe I Can Fly... anyways can I make up my absence to you with this gorgeous polish? Sheesh I can't believe it took me this long to show you one of these magical creations. Today I have for you all a gorgeous seafoam green/blueish Whimsie PACKED with both silver micro glitter and some hexes. Why don't you see for yourself?

It is a sheer polish which is why I went with a base color first ;).

 I have seen swatches of Kitty Glitter over For Audrey, and some bluer leaning polish but I wanted something a little lighter so I went with Essie| Turquoise & Caicos as the undies. 

 

oh and really who can resist buying a polish that applies like a dream and comes wrapped like one too.. see the bow, ahhh it reminds me that it was a gift to myself :) You can never have too many of those right?

Essie | Licorice

Good Morningish, almost afternoon ahh whatever you catch my drift. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Everyone that reads this little blog at least *shakes fists at those who don't*  JK well kinda. Anyways today we have a little Essie love again a deep, dark shiny, black creme... jaw dropping is it not. Licorice is a nice opaque non streaky black. These pictures show base coat of Nail Tek Foundation II (trying it out) 2 coats of Essie | Licorice with one coat of Seche Vite. You want to hear a funny story... stick around after the pictures.

Funny Story: After the smooth application of Licorice I was all hey lets clean up no one wants to see this awful mess. I just got back from a little weekend away and I open my travel case get out my nice little angled brush start cleaning up my mess. I keep seeing that black is SMEARING but not cleaning up my nails and just COVERING my cuticles =/ Turns out I went into the wrong section and brought out the eyeliner brush OH JOY! SO I was just sitting there trying to clean up a dirty brush sheesh. Story of my life... oh well

Essie | Skirting the Issue

Hello there! Just a little welcome if you haven't stopped by before and if you have thanks for coming back. Now I am not going to lie here as I am sure you can tell I am still very new to this blogging world. It is very cool but with all the picture taking I have realized my clean-up could stand some improvement as well as the application itself =/ bummer, BUT on to the good I still love my polish and do not plan on going anywhere. So please don't mind the mess, I PROMISE I will improve! Now onto the goods:

Today I have a little Essie on Essie action. To be honest with you I never really considered myself a red person and heck still really don't but this, THIS color whoa! Essie | Skirting the Issue has made my reconsider  my thoughts on red polish. It is a deep vampy burgundy jelly. Heart be still! I had no application problems other than my little dog biting my sock and well the brush jabbing into my cuticle *le sigh* reminds self of how cute the little beast is. Ahh yes back to why we are here... I present to you Essie| Skirting the Issue and a hint of Essie| Leading Lady (I can't be without my sparkles!)

Forgive the dried out cuticles Texas is not hot the way it should be seriously 40 degree weather... Mother Nature get over yourself (please?) They are never THIS unsightly... moisturizes for the umpteenth time before 9am.
